Growing and starting the garden, It is time.

So far the Cauliflower is doing pretty well, and we've been enjoying broccoli already, but I started tomatoes, peppers, cucumber, squash, cantaloupe, and corn. I spent about $20 on the seeds, soil, and peat pots and already have sprouts of each. We did have some bad weather come along, and I had to put the pots in the garage for two days, but they did fine, and hopefully no more frost! The onions look great, and I pulled some up early to use for green onions... they are quite tasty. Also have noticed that my fresh broccoli is juicy... never had that experience with broccoli! Home grown is best!
Below are some plants growing out of the compost.. I'm sure the top is tomato, not too sure whether the bottom is a veggie or a weed. I am just so excited to get another growing season started! The compost will soon get a great boost with the addition of 5 hens fertilizing it and coming to my family, later this week! yeah!
